Marinesa Letizia è nata il 30 luglio 1954 a McKenzie nel Tennessee, una cittadina a metà strada tra Memphis e Nashville ed ha una laurea in scienze infermieristiche.
Ha lavorato come infermiera fino al 1983 quando ho iniziato a giocare a bridge professionalmente con i fratelli Clerkin: Denny e Jerry, che sono stati i suoi mentori.
Ha vinto 4 NABC incluso lo Sternberg del 2003.
Divorziata, vive a Las Vegas con il suo adorato pastore tedesco: "Babe" ed è una World Women Grand Master che ha vinto 3 campionati del mondo: due volte la McConnell nel 1994 e nel 2006 e la Venice Cup nel 1997.
Medaglia d'argento alle Olimpiadi a Squadre del 2004 e di bronzo in quelle del 2008.
Ha anche vinto un bronzo ai Campionati Europei Transnazionali a Squadre nel 2005 e la Pan American Pairs Women nel 1992 oltre che svariati campionati nazionali.

She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and she worked as a nurse till 1983 when she started playing bridge professionally with the Clerkin brothers: Denny and Jerry. They were my mentors.
She is divorced and live in Las Vegas Nevada with her German Shepherd, "Babe".
She has won 3 world championships: The McConnell Cup in 1994 and 2006 and the Venice Cup in l997.
She was 2nd in the Women's Olympiad in Istanbul in 2004 and won a bronze medal in Beijing in 2008.
She won also the Pan American Wonen's Pairs in 1992 and a bronze medal in European Transnational Teams Championships in 2005.
She have won several ACBL national championships included the Sternberg of 2003 and she is a Women World Grand Master.
