Paul & Linda LEWIS

 

 Paul Lewis è nato e vive a Sioux Falls ed è un noto bridgista americano.

 Ha studiato prima presso la Washington University per poi laurearsi in scienze politiche presso l'Università di San Diego dove ha conseguito anche un Juries Doctor in legge.

 Paul è stato un socio della D.H.E.H.&S, poi dal 1978 si è dedicato per 6 anni esclusivamente al bridge professionale, successivamente è stato per tre anni vice presidente di una banca in California ed è amministratore della Fondazione dell?Università di San Diego fin dagli anni '80.

 Per diversi anni è stato chairman del Comitato ACBL che gestisce la Casa della Fama nazionale.

 Senior International Master della WBF, ha vinto il bronzo nella categoria senior ai Mondiali del 2014giocando in coppia con la moglie, mentre, in campo nazionale ha vinto 4 NABC tra cui ricordiamo Silodor del 1980,

 Sua moglie Linda Lewis è anche lei un'eccellente giocatrice, World Women Master e Senior International Master,  che ha colto molti dei suoi successi giocando in coppia con il marito e che si è fregiata di 6 NABC tra i quali ricordiamo il Whitehead del 2010 e i Wagar del 1998 e 2009. 

Paul Lewis was born and lives in Sioux Falls and is a well-known American bridge player.

He studied first at Washington University and then graduated in political science from the University of San Diego where he also earned a JDo of Law.

Paul was a partner of D.H.E.H. & S., then from 1978 he dedicated himself exclusively to professional bridge for 6 years, then he was vice president of a bank in California for three years and has been director of the San Diego University Foundation since the years '80.

For several years he was chairman of the ACBL Committee which manages the National House of Fame.

Senior International Master of the WBF, he won the bronze in the senior category at the 2014 World Championships playing in tandem with his wife, while, in the national field he won 4 NABC including Silodor of 1980

His wife Linda Lewis is also an excellent player, World Women Master and Senior International Master, who has achieved many of her successes playing alongside her husband and who has boasted 6 NABCs among which we remember the Whitehead of 2010 and Wagar of 1998 and 2009.
