Amber Y. Lin è nata il 9 luglio del 1997 a Salt Like City ma da molti anni vive a Edison nel New Jersey.
Dotata di un eclettico talento, nella sua giovane vita si è occupata di molte cose avendo spesso successo in ognuna e, per quanto riguarda il nostro mondo, diventando un personaggio di riferimento del bridge USA.
Laureata in ingegneria civile presso l'Università di Princeton, parla correntemente inglese e mandarino e durante gli anni di liceo è stata per due anni un insegnante di bridge alla Huaxia Edison Chinese School.
Dopo uno stage di due mesi presso l'Università di San Paolo in Brasile, ha lavorato per oltre 4 anni come analista part time presso la Cindie LLC Account and Advisor e dopo una brevissima esperienza presso la LRL Architects, è entrata presso la Bain & Company dove oggi opera come consulente.
Per molti anni è stata anche Music Director presso l'Università dove si era laureata.
Nel campo del bridge ha avuto successo giovanissima tanto che nel 2015 è già stata nominata Queens of Bridge.
World Women Master, dopo aver militato a lungo nelle formazioni giovanili, nel 2022 è entrata a far parte della nazionale maggiore femminile USA con cui l'anno successivo ha vinto la Wuhan Cup.
Amber Y. Lin was born on July 9, 1997 in Salt Like City
but now living in Edison, New Jersey for many years.
Endowed with an eclectic talent, in her young life she has dealt with many things, often having success in each one and, as far as our world is concerned, becoming a reference character in USA bridge.
She has a degree in civil engineering from Princeton University, is fluent in English and Mandarin, and during her high school years she was a bridge teacher at Huaxia Edison Chinese School for two years.
After a two month internship at the University of São Paulo in Brazil, she worked for over 4 years as a part time analyst at Cindie LLC Account and Advisor and after a very short experience at LRL Architects, she joined Bain & Company where today he works as a consultant.
For many years she was also Music Director at the University where she graduated.
In the field of bridge she was successful at a very young age, so much so that in 2015 she was already named Queens of Bridge.
World Women Master, after having played for a long time in youth formations, in 2022 she joined the USA women's national team and she won in 2023 the Wuhan Cup.
