Charles S. Lochridge nacque il 15 luglio del 1905 e fu uno dei più forti giocatori della prima metà dello scorso secolo.
Nel corso della sua carriera fece parte del famoso Bid-Rite Team e, oltre ad innumerevoli piazzamenti in tornei regionali e nazionali, vinse la Vanderbilt Cup nel 1940 e nel 1949, il Goldman Pairs nel 1940, l'Open Pairs nel 1934 e 1937, il Mixed Pairs nel 1932 ed il Mixed BAM nel 1931.
Charles scomparve a causa di un cancro il 10 febbraio del 1970 a Delray Beach in Florida dove viveva.
Charles S. Lochridge was born on 15 July 1905 and was one of
the strongest players of the first half of the last century.
During his career he was part of the famous Bid-Rite Team and, in addition to countless placings in regional and national tournaments, he won the Vanderbilt Cup in 1940 and 1949, Goldman Pairs in 1940, Open Pairs in 1934 and 1937, Mixed Pairs in 1932 and Mixed BAM in 1931.
Charles disappeared due to a cancer on February 10, 1970 at Delray Beach in Florida where he lived.
