Ravindra Murthy was born in Cuppertino in 1966 and as a bridge player he was among the best young Americans of his generation and was also part of the US national team.
A law graduate, he worked in a New York firm when, still very young, he passed away in November 2000 due to colon cancer.
Domestically he recorded some prestigious placings and paired with super champion Brad Moss, won two NABC including the 1993 Grand National Teams.
