Jim Robison è nato a Los Angeles il 26 luglio del 1942 è si spento nella sua casa di Las Vegas il 27 marzo del 2004.
Jim è stato un forte giocatore professionista sia di bridge che di poker, che veniva chiamato da amici e conoscenti "The Robinator" per il suo indubbi talento che lo portava spesso a scegliere vie insolite ma quasi sempre vincenti.
Tra le sue migliori performance come bridgista ricordiamo la vittoria nelle Olimpiadi Senior a squadre di Istanbul nel 2004 e diverse vittorie nei Campionati del circuito nordamericano tra cui ricordiamo la vittoria nella Reisinger del 1984 e nel Silodor del'anno successivo.
Jim era un ACBL Grand Life Master che figura tra i primi 100 giocatori americani di tutti i tempi per il numero dei Master Point conquistati in carriera.
Gli è sopravvissuta per qualche tempo la moglie Carol Pincus, anche lei valente bridgista con tre NABC's nel suo palmares.
Nata l'11 ottobre del 1930 a New York dove ha studiato ed è cresciuta , ha passato l'ultima parte della sua vita a Woodbridge dove è scomparsa il 27 luglio del 2020.

Jim was a strong bridge that is professional player poker, which was called by friends and acquaintances "The Robinator" for his undoubted talent that led him often to choose unusual ways but almost always win.
Among his best performance as a bridge player we remember the victory in the Senior Olympics team in Istanbul in 2004 and many wins and placing in the Championship of the North American circuit among which we remember the victories in 1984 Reisinger and 1985 Silodor.
Jim was an ACBL Grand Life Master who is one of the top 100 American players of all time by the number of Master Points earned in his career.
His wife Carol Pincus, also a talented bridge player with three NABC's in her palmares, survived for some time.
She was born on 11 October 1930 in New York where she studied and grew up, she spent the last part of her life in Woodbridge where she disappeared on 27 July 2020.
