Arthur Guy Robinson nacque nel 1936 a Villanova un paesino del Mississippi ad Ovest di Jackson, ed è stato un noto insegnante di bridge oltre che uno dei più forti giocatori americani degli anni sessanta.
Formò con Robert Jordan una fortissima coppia che oltre ad aver vinto diversi titoli nazionali tra i quali la Reisinger del 1966 e del 1967, la Vanderbilt del 1961 e del 1968 ed il Silodor del 1962, su quello internazionale arrivò seconda nella Bermuda Bowl del 1963 e nelle Olimpiadi del 1964 e del 1968.
Agli inizi degli '70 in coppia con Jordan fece squadra con Belladonna e Garozzo in una memorabile tournée negli USA con quello che per l'occasione prese il nome di "Super Precision Team".
Oggi vive a Radnor Township una cittadina della Pennsylvania circa 30 Km a Nord Ovest di Philadelphia.

as one of the strongest American players of the sixties.
Together to Robert Jordan he was formed a very strong pair that, besides winning several national titles including the Reisinger, 1966 and 1967, Vanderbilt in 1961 and 1968 and Silodor 1962, on the international plan took a silver medal in the Bermuda Bowl in 1963 and in Olympiad in 1964 and 1968.
In the early '70s he teamed with Jordan, Belladonna and Garozzo in a memorable tour in the U.S. THAT for the occasion was called "Super Precision Team".
Today he lives in a small town in Pennsylvania called Radnor Township about 30 km north-west of Philadelphia.
