Marilyn Rogers (per gli amici Lynne) è nata il 17 febbraio del 1925 a Denver in Colorado ma la sua famiglia si trasferì a Miami in Florida quando Lynne aveva solo 14 anni.
Lynne, che ha frequentato le scuole superiori a Miami si è laureata in microbiologia presso l'Università del Connecticut.
Dopo la laurea ha iniziato a lavorare a Cleveland nell'Ohio dove ha conosciuto il suo primo marito, un medico che ha seguito a Phoenix in Arizona dove Lynne ha vissuto fino al 2003.
Massone, dopo il suo pensionamento di è dedicata completamente alla pratica e all'insegnamento del Bridge.
Ha avuto una figlia ed è scomparsa il 29 giugno del 2006 nella sua casa di Bainbridge Island vicino Seattle.
Lynne was born in Denver, Colorado on February 17, 1925 to Hobart and Amelia Wilson. Her parents were designers and builders of prestigious custom homes that were sold completely furnished. She often would recount her memories of growing up in these beautiful and elegant homes. A few years ago she visited Denver and was thrilled to see all of her homes and to find they were still “Top Drawer” in the real estate market place.
The family moved to Miami, Florida in 1939. They drove across the country making a brief stop at the family home along the Long Island shore of Connecticut. Their timing was such that they arrived just in time for the famous “hurricane of 1939”!
Lynne graduated from Miami High School and went on to earn a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Connecticut. Her first job was with the Ponds Company located in Cleveland, Ohio where she met her first husband. He was a medical student at Case Western Reserve. After retiring she enjoyed playing and teaching bridge, golfing, traveling throughout the world and many handicraft activities.
Lynne passed away the morning of 2006, June 29th at her Bainbridge Island home.
