Nato a Milano nel 1910, è stato nel lontano 1937 uno degli appassionati fondatori della Associazione Italiana Bridge poi trasformatasi in Federazione.
Grande organizzatore di manifestazioni bridgistiche, articolista e arbitro stimato, ha diretto "Bridge", l'antenata di "Bridge d'Italia" ed è stato per lunghi anni segretario della Federazione.
Sposato con Gianna ha accompagnato la crescita del Bridge Italiano dai 10 Soci del '37 ai 10.000 di quando un male incurabile non lo sottrasse al suo grande amore il 6 ottobre del 1972 nella sua casa di Milano.

Great organizer of events bridge player, referee and estimated columnist, he directed "Bridge", the ancestor of "Bridge of Italy" and has been for many years secretary of the Federation, until a terminal illness took away him from his great love in 1972 at hi home in Milan.
