Milt Rosenberg was born in Chicago on October 7, 1944, he graduated from Roosevelt High School in his city and with degrees in mathematics from Columbia University and the Illinois Institute of Technology.
He founded a trading company which was highly successful and which employed several bridge players in its ranks before retiring still young in his early forties to move to a ranch in Florida with his wife Sharron who bore him three children.
Equipped with an extraordinary multifaceted intelligence, he delighted in the study of disciplines such as string theory, cosmology, music, finance and literature.
He never neglected the fun becoming a strong bridge player and a good golfer.
As a player he was able to win the 1978 Grand National, the 1980 Mitchell and the 1984 Jacoby and managed to finish fifth in the 1990 Rosenblum Cup.
In his fifties he abandoned bridge racing and golf in his sixties, never allowing himself to experience the decline of his faculties.
He passed away on April 23, 2020 due to cancer.
