Michel Pierre Talagrand was born on February 15, 1952 in Paris and an internationally renowned French mathematician who lives with his family in Puteaux, a center on the Seine not far from the capital.
CNRS researcher, of which he became director, earned the Shaw prize in September 2019 and distinguished himself in the study of probabilities.
Michel has collected various national awards and published several studies that have made fundamental contributions to modern science.
Awarded the knighthood of the legion of honor, married with a son, he recently demonstrated the validity of the prediction of the famous formula of Parisi.
Michel has known bridge over sixty but is passionate about it and a regular visitor to the Bridge Club of Puteaux where he often plays with his wife Wansoo, also a talented Russian mathematician.
