 Noga & Dana  TAL

 

 Un'altra coppie di sorelline terribili si è affacciata sullo scenario del bridge internazionale.

 Stavolta, si tratta di due giovanissime israeliane.

 Entrambe native della zona di Haifa, Noga è nata il 2 agosto del 1982 e Dana le è di tre anni più piccola.

 I suoi genitori Haim e Livi hanno imparato il bridge subito dopo il loro matrimonio, hanno sempre pensato che il bridge fosse un gioco bello ed educativo e così non hanno mancato di insegnarlo ad entrambe le loro figlie.

 Le Tal hanno iniziato a frequentare i Bridge clubs quando la più grande aveva 9 anni!

 Pochi anni più tardi facevano parte della nazionale giovanile israeliana e vincevano in coppia il titolo femminile nazionale.

 Nel 2003 Noga ha iniziato gli studi di Scienza dei Computer presso l'Istituto di Tecnologia Israeliano e le è venuto a mancare il tempo per il Bridge.

 Dopo la laurea presa nel 2007, Noga ha ricominciato a giocare a Bridge in coppia con Dana che nel frattempo aveva vinto alcuni titoli internazionali a livello giovanile e insieme sono entrate nella nazionale femminile israeliana partecipando ai Campionati Europei del 2010 e del 2012 dove, arrivando seste, hanno guadagnato il diritto a partecipare alla Venice Cup del 2013. Sempre nel 2013 vincono la medaglia di bronzo nell'Open Pairs Women dei World Mind Game, mentre, nel 2014 trionfano al Cavendish Women Pairs.

 Oggi Noga lavora in una software company e vive con il fidanzato Alon a Ramat-Gan  pochi km a est di Tel Aviv. Dana frequenta l'Istituto di tecnologia Israeliano Technion che si trova appena fuori Haifa e che aveva già visto sui suoi banchi la sorella maggiore.

Entrambe sono delle  World Women Master e nel 2023 sono la prima coppia di sorelle a vincere la Venice Cup.

Noga Tal was born in Haifa on 1982, August 2.

 Her parents Haim and Livi, learned to play Bridge right after they got married, and thought the game is both fun and educational, so they decided to teach it to their daughters - Noga and Dana.

 When Noga was nine years of age, and Dana six years, they have started playing in Bridge clubs.

 A few years later they joined the Israeli Schools team and Junior team, and when Noga was 18 she and Dana won Israel's Women's Championships.

 In 2003 Noga started studying Computer Science at Israel Institute of Technology and devoted much of her time to school.

After graduating in 2007, she wanted to go back to compete in Bridge, and resumed her partnership with Dana. They played in the Israeli Women's team in Ostend (2010) and then in Dublin (2012), where they qualified to the World Championships (2013). Still in 2013 the Tal sisters won the bronze medal in the Women Pairs at World Mind Game and in 2014 won the Cavendish Women Pairs.

Besides the love for Bridge, she says that partnering with her sister makes playing an even better experience.

Noga lives in Ramat-Gan with her boyfriend Alon, and works as a programmer in a software company. Dana studied in the prestigious Technion just out of Haifa, the same frequented from Noga.

Both are the World Women Master and in 2023 they have been the first paired sister to win the Venice Cup.
