Tim Verbeek è nato il 23 marzo del 1985 a Voorburg uno dei tre agglomerati che formano la banlieue de L'Aja, vive a Driebergen una cittadina nei pressi di Utrecth ed è uno dei talenti del bridge olandese.

 Ha iniziato a giocare quando aveva 10 anni sotto la guida del papà che lo accompagnava tutti i venerdì al torneo del locale bridge club e verso i 12 anni ha formato un sodalizio con Danny Molenaar.

 Ha studiato presso il collegio Het Loo e si è laureato nel 2009 in Scienze Politiche nella più antica università olandese, la Leiden University, ha fatto il suo esordio nella nazionale giovanile del suo Paese nel 1998.

 World International Master, nel suo palmares figurano un bronzo conquistato nel 2004 nel Mondiale a Squadre Under 21, un oro nel Mondiale Universitario a Squadre del 2008 e un altro nel Mondiale Juniores a Coppie del 2009.

 Nel 2007 ha esordito nella Nazionale maggiore e nel 2015 ha vinto i Transnazionali Europei Open, nel 2017 ha capitanato da giocatore la squadra che ha vinto il Jacoby e si è aggiudicato la Coppa dei Campioni. Nel 2019 ha guadagnato l'argento agli Europei Open.

 Tim ha due fratelli Kim e Thijs entrambi bridgisti.

 Thijs Verbeek, che è nato a Voorburg, vive a Delft ed ha conquistato un bronzo nel 2010 nel Campionato Mondiale per Squadre Youngsters.

 Rik Verbeek, che è nato a Voorburg il 5 gennaio del 1987 e vive ad Arnhem, ha frequentato il Liceo Huygens e si è laureato presso la Hogeschool Van Hall Larenstein di Velp, ha partecipato ad alcune competizioni internazionali a coppie con il fratello Thijs ma poi ha abbandonato l'attività agonistica.

  Tim Verbeek was born on March 23, 1985 in Voorburg one of the three clusters that form the suburbs of The Hague, today lives in Driebergen, a small town near Utrecth and is one of the talents of the Dutch bridge.

 He started playing when he was 10 years under the guidance of the father who accompanied him every Friday at the local bridge club tournament and to the 12 years it has formed a partnership with Danny Molenaar.

 Tim who graduated in 2009 in Political Science in the oldest Dutch university: the Leiden University, he made his debut in the national youth of his country in 1998.

 World International Master, in his list include a bronze won in 2004 in the World Under-21 Team, a gold in the World University Team in 2008 and another in the World Junior Pairs of 2009.

 In 2007 he made his debut in the senior team in 2015 and won the European Transnational Open, finally, in 2017 he captained the team as a player who won the Jacoby. In 2019 he earned the silver medal in Open Teams at the Ruropean Open.

Tim has two brothers Kim and Thijs both bridge players.
