Nato l'8 ottobre del 1945 a Roma è un imprenditore del settore farmaceutico che ha sponsorizzato a lungo alcuni dei migliori giocatori italiani contendendo spesso le vittorie finali all'altro formidabile team di Maria Teresa Lavazza.

Laureatosi in farmacia inizia la sua attività nell'azienda di famiglia di cui sale alla Presidenza nel 1993.
Divorziato, padre di tre figlie, è un grande appassionato oltre che di Bridge anche di calcio nel cui ambito tifa fortemente per la A. S. Roma.
Nell'ultimo ventennio ha diversificato il suo business acquisendo diverse aziende vinicole e nel 1997 ha fondato la Angelini Onlus per sostenere iniziative di carattere sociale sia a livello nazionale che internazionale.
Infine nel 2011 acquisisce la Linea di Prodotto Infasil dalla Procter & Gamble e diversifica anche nel segmento dei prodotti per l'igiene personale.
Nel Bridge ottiene i suoi primi risultati prestigiosi in ambito nazionale vincendo ben 13 volte la Coppa Italia (1994/5, 1996, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013 e 2014) e 7 volte i Campionati italiani a squadre (1995, 1999, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008).
Sul piano internazionale nel 1998 si aggiudica la Rosenblum Cup e nel 1999 lo IOC Grand Prix.
Il suo esordio con il team azzurro risale al 2002 ed è particolarmente fortunato in quanto conquista immediatamente l'oro nei Campionati Europei a Squadre di Salsomaggiore.
Dal 2003 guadagna il titolo di World Master.
Fiore all'occhiello sono le 5 Champions Cup vinte (2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 e 2009), nonché il secondo posto del 2010.
Nel 2016 ha smesso la sua azione di sponsorizzazione del bridge.
