Kevin Bathurst è nato l'8 luglio del 1978 ad Hartsville nella Carolina del Sud e si è laureato alla Cornell University di Ithaca (NY).
Sposato con Catalina Robles, anche lei buona bridgista, hanno due figli e dopo aver risieduto a New York, vivono ora a Palm Beach Gardens una cittadina della Florida situata poco a nord delle Bahamas.
World International Master, Kevin si è messo in luce vincendo il bronzo ai Campionati Mondiali Juniores a Squadre del 2003 e 8 anni più tardi ha fatto parta della squadra USA che ha conquistato l'argento nella Bermuda Bowl.
Nel 2007 ha vinto il più antico torneo americano a coppie il Goldman e nel 2014 e nel 2023 il Grand National Teams.

Married to Catalina Robles, who is also a good bridge player, have two sons, and after residing in New York, now living in Palm Beach Gardens Florida a town located just north of the Bahamas.
Wolrd International Master, Kevin was highlighted by winning the bronze medal at the Junior Teams World Championships in 2003 and eight years later, he did depart the U.S. team that won the silver medal in the Bermuda Bowl.
In 2007 he also won the oldest American Pairs Tournament: the Goldman and in 2014 and 2023 the Grand National Teams.
