Le personalità nel bridge

Adolfo Bogoncelli è nato a Treviso il 6 dicembre del 1915 ed è stato uno dei più illuminati imprenditori del basket italiano e nel 1946 uno dei fondatori dell'AIB.

Nel 1934 Adolfo si trasferisce a Milano dove termina gli studi liceali prima di trasferirsi a Modena dove si laureerà in economia.

Nel 1947, dopo aver fondato la società sportiva "Triestina Milano" che ebbe, però, vita breve, Adolfo acquisì la Borletti rilevandone tutti i titoli sportivi e guadagnando la prima sponsorizzazione della storia del basket italiano per poi nel 1956, legarsi alla Simmenthal con un contratto che durerà 17 anni.

Precursore assoluto nel mondo della pallacanestro fondò la fortuna delle sue società sportive sulla cura del vivaio e fu anche uno dei fondatori della Lega Basket ed il primo a vincere la Coppa dei Campioni di pallacanestro nel 1966 con una squadra italiana.

Nel 1980 cederà la sua squadra alla Gabetti dopo essere stato eletto nella Hall of Fame della pallacanestro italiana.

Grande appassionato di bridge si ricorda la sua epica sfida Milano-Bologna con l'avvocato Gianluigi Porelli che si svolse in campo neutro di Rapallo.

Scomparve il 15 luglio del 1989 a Milano a causa di una malattia incurabile.

Adolfo Bogoncelli was born in Treviso on December 6, 1915 and was one of the most enlightened entrepreneurs of Italian basketball and in 1946 one of the founders of AIB.

In 1934 Adolfo moved to Milan where he graduated from high school before moving to Modena where he graduated in economics.

In 1947, after having founded the "Triestina Milano" sports club which had a short life, Adolfo acquired the Borletti, taking over all the sports titles and earning the first sponsorship of the history of Italian basketball and then in 1956, joining Simmenthal with a contract that will last 17 years.

An absolute forerunner in the world of basketball, he founded the fortune of his sports clubs on nursery care and was also one of the founders of the Basketball League and the first to win the Basketball Champions Cup in 1966 with an Italian team.

In 1980 he will sell his team to Gabetti after being elected to the Italian Basketball Hall of Fame.

A great bridge lover, he remembers his epic Milan-Bologna challenge with the lawyer Gianluigi Porelli, who took place in the neutral field of Rapallo.

Disappeared on July 15, 1989 in Milan due to an incurable disease.
