Chuck  BURGER

 Charles Frederick Burger è nato il 15 novembre del 1936 ed è stato un avvocato laureato in giurisprudenza all'Università di Detroit.

 Residente a West Bloomfield nel Michigan è anche stato un eccellente giocatore che ha guadagnato il titolo di World International Master.

 A livello internazionale ha conquistato il suo miglior risultato con il quarto posto nel Transnational Teams del 2007.

 A livello nazionale si è fregiato di 11 NABC tra i quali ricordiamo il GNT del 2005, il Jacoby del 1996, le Reisinger del 1988 e 1992, le Spingold del 1985, 1989 e 1990, il Mitchell del 1969.

 Un anno prima della sua scomparsa avvenuta il 25 marzo del 2021 aveva guadagnato il prestigioso premio Von Zedtwitz.

 Al tavolo verde ha incontrato la moglie Suzy Burger, anche lei ottima giocatrice che ha imparato a giocare ai tempi del college e che è stata capace di vincere 3 NABC incluso lo Sternberg del 1989 ed il Whitehead del 2010.

La coppia ha avuto tre figli.

A year before his disappearance on March 25, 2021, he had earned the prestigious Von Zedtwitz award.

At the green table he met his wife Suzy Burger, also an excellent player who learned to play in college and who was able to win 3 NABC including the Sternberg of 1989 and the Whitehead of 2010.

The couple had three children.
