Luigi  CARRARO

 Luigi Carraro è nato a Padova il 19 febbraio del 1916 ed è stato un giurista, industriale, manager e politico italiano.

 Studioso di diritto civile è stato anche preside della facoltà di giurisprudenza dell'università di Padova e consigliere di amministrazione di Italstrade.

 A 23 anni fondò una sua azienda tessile a Padova che nel dopoguerra trasferì a Milano.

 Senatore per quattro legislature consecutive, fu anche vicepresidente del Senato fino alla sua morte avvenuta a Padova l'8 novembre 1980. 

 Il ben noto figlio Franco ex presidente della Federcalcio, in gioventù fu schermidore e vinse il titolo mondiale di sci nautico.

 Luigi nella sua vita è stato un amante di bridge e di calcio e fu anche presidente del Milan.

 Per uno starno gioco del destino, fu suo figlio Franco nominato commissario straordinario della FISI a commissariare la FIGB nel 2011.

  Luigi Carraro was born in Padua on February 19, 1916 and was an Italian jurist, industrialist, manager and politician.

Scholar of civil law, he was also dean of the faculty of law of the University of Padua and a board member of Italstrade.

At 23 he founded his own textile company in Padua which he moved to Milan after the war.

Senator for four consecutive terms, he was also vice-president of the Senate until his death in Padua on November 8, 1980.

The well-known son Franco, former president of the Federcalcio, was a fencer in his youth and won the world title of water skiing.

In his life Luigi was a lover of bridge and football and was also president of Milan football.

For a game of fate it was his son Franco appointed FISI extraordinary commissioner who commissioned the FIGB in 2011.
