Nato nel 1934 a Fort Wayne nell'Indiana Nord Orientale, Robert W. Carteaux ha servito nell'esercito USA ed è stato un imprenditore proprietario di alcune aziende, di una sala di bowling e di un circolo di bridge.
Eletto nella Hall of Fame del Bowling americano, Bob ha detenuto diversi record mentre è diventato bridgista solo verso i 50 anni quando smise di giocare a Bowling e a Tennis. ACBL Grand Life Master è arrivato a vincere un Campionato Nazionale Senior nel 1997 ed ha fatto parte del Consiglio ACBL.
Sposato con Donna ha avuto tre figli ed è scomparso il 15 aprile del 2012.

owner of some companies, including a Bowling Club and a Bridge Club.
Elected to the Hall of Fame of the American Bowling, Bob has held several records and has known the bridge only to the age of 50 when he stopped playing Bowling and Tennis.
ACBL Grand Life Master went on to win a National Senior Championship in 1997 and has served on the Board ACBL.
Married with Donna has had three children, and died on April 15, 2012.
