 Thomas Charlsen č nato il 14 maggio del 1976 a Fyllingsdalen nei pressi di Bergen dove oggi vive con la moglie Anna Iren e con le loro tre figlie.

 Dopo aver studiato al liceo della sua cittā ha frequentato l'Universitā di Bergen ed oggi č un libero professionista.

 World International Master si č messo in luce a livello giovanile vincendo l'argento ai Campionati Europei Cadetti a Squadre del 1994 e l'oro a quelli Juniores del 1996.

 Nel 1997 ha conquistato l'argento nei Campionati Mondiali Juniores a Squadre, vincendo poi l'oro nel 2001. Mentre, nel 1995 ha guadagnato l'argento in quelli a Coppie.

 Nella categoria superiore ha guadagnato un bronzo nei World Mind Games a Squadre, un argento in quelli a Coppie, entrambe nel nel 2011 e la Champions Cup nel 2021.

Thomas Carlsen was born on May 14, 1976 in Fyllingsdalen near Bergen, where he now lives with his wife Anna Iren and their three daughters.

After studying in high school of his city, he attended the University of Bergen and is now a freelancer.

World International Master was highlighted at youth level by winning the silver medal at the European Cadets teams Championships of 1994  and a gold to European Juniors Teams Championships in 1996.

In 1997 he won the silver medal in the World Junior's Teams Championships, winning  then the gold in 2001 and an other silver medal in the World Junior's Pairs Championships.

In the  higher category he earned a bronze in the World Mind Games Teams and a silver in World Mind Games Pairs, both in 2011 added the victory in Champion Cup 2021.
