Vivien & Michael CORNELL

 Michael Cornell è nato il 28 giugno 1947 ad Auckland dove tuttora vive.

 Ha studiato presso il Lynnfield College e si è laureato all'Università di Auckland ed oggi è un contabile in pensione.

 Sposato con Vivien, anche lei ottima bridgista di origine inglese, hanno due figlie Rachel e Sarah.

 Mike è una delle colonne della nazionale open neozelandese ed il primo giocatore del suo Paese a divenire World Grand Master. Dopo aver vinto il Cavendish Team nel 2004, è arrivato secondo alle Olimpiadi a Coppie Open del 2016 e primo ai Campionati Mondiali a Coppie Nazionali del 2016.

 Vivien, che è nata nel 1946, ha studiato presso il Trinity College of Music di Londra, suona il piano ed è una citologa ed una World Women Master ed una colonna portante della nazionale femminile neozelandese.

He studied at the Lynnfield College and at he University of Auckland and is now retired.

Married to Vivien, also her a very good bridge player, they have two daughters, Rachel and Sarah.

World Grand Master, the first player of New Zealand to have this title, is one of the pillars of the New Zealand open national and after winning the Cavendish Teams in 2004,  he arrived second in the Open Pairs Olympiads of 2016 and first in the World National Open Pairs of the same year.

Vivien, who studied at Trinity College of Music in London, is a piano player, a cytology, a World Women Master and a pillar of New Zealand's national women.
