Hema  DEORA

 

 Hema Deora è nata il 10 gennaio del 1937 a Mumbai ed è la vedova di Murli Deora, che è stato sindaco di Mumbai e membro del Parlamento indiano.

 I coniugi Deora hanno avuto due figli.

 Ottima giocatrice, Hema ha la straordinaria particolarità di non aver mai giocato a bridge prima dei 50 anni e di essere, nonostante questo, arrivata alla nazionale femminile indiana, di cui è stata più volte membro, riuscendo a conquistare un secondo posto ai Campionati BFAME del 2007 seguito da un terzo nel 2009.

 World Woman Master, doveva interrompere spesso l'attiva agonistica per seguire il marito nei suoi viaggio politici, ma, nonostante tutti questi ostacoli è divenuta anche un articolista rinomata che per più anni ha scritto una seguita colonna nel Mid-Day e Jet wings. 

  Hema Deora was born on January 10, 1937 in Mumbai and is the widow of Murli Deora, who was the mayor of Mumbai and a member of the Indian Parliament.

The Deora had two children.

Excellent player, Hema she has the extraordinary peculiarity of never having played bridge before the age of 50 and despite this having reached the Indian women's national team, of which she has been a member several times, reaching a second place at the 2007 BFAME Championships and a third in 2009.

World Woman Master, she often had to quit the active competition to follow her husband on his political journeys, but, despite all these obstacles, she too has become a renowned columnist who for several years has written a followed column in the Mid-Day and Jet wings.
