Simon Ekenberg è nato il 27 gennaio 1992 a Kalmar una cittadina del sud est della Svezia proprio di fronte all'isola di Öland a cui è collegata per mezzo di un ponte.

 Si è diplomato presso la Jenny Nyströmsskolan ed ora sta studiando Scienze Naturali.

 Si è messo in mostra a livello internazionale guadagnando un bronzo nel Campionato Europeo Youngsters a Squadre del 2011 e nel Campionato Europeo Junior a Coppie del 2012.

 Nel 2015 ha vinto il Campionato Mondiale a Squadre Giovanile, nel 2017 ha vinto i Campionati Mondiali a Coppie Juniores ed è divenuto un World International Master e nel 2019 ha vinto i primi Campionati Europei a Squadre Miste.

  Simon Ekenberg was born January 27, 1992 in Kalmar a town of the southeast of Sweden just opposite the island of Öland in which it is connected by a bridge.

 He graduated at the Jenny Nyströmsskolan and now is studying Natural Sciences.

 He was showcased at the international level by earning a bronze medal in European Youngsters Championships Teams of 2011 and in the European Juniors Championships  Pairs in 2012.

 In 2015 he won the World Youth Swiss Teams, in 2017 he won the World Pairs Juniors Championships has become a World International Master and in 2019 he won 1st European Mixed Teams Championshios.
