Gerard  FAULKNER

 John Gerard Eastham Faulkner è nato nel 1937 ed è stato un avvocato ed un valente cuoco nonché un competente enologo.

 Presidente EBU per due volte (1977-1982 e 1989-1994) e membro del CdA per 27 ha ricoperto praticamente ogni carica in seno alla Federazione Britannica.

 Ha frequentato la Glasgow Academy, la Bancroft's School ed il Kings College e dopo aver fatto parte del Coward Chance e divenuto partner di Vanderpump & Sykes di Enfield.

 Ritiratosi nel 1990 come giocatore ha vinto la Gold Cup del 1971, il campionato nazionale a coppie del 1971 ed il Four Stars del 1973.

 John si è spento il 22 novembre del 2021 un mese dopo la scomparsa del suo compagno di una vita Santiago Lopez Rey.

He attended Glasgow Academy, Bancroft's School and Kings College and later joined the Coward Chance and partnered with Enfield's Vanderpump & Sykes.

He retired in 1990 as a player and won the 1971 Gold Cup, the 1971 national pairs championship and the 1973 Four Stars.

John passed away on November 22, 2021, a month after his lifelong partner passed away Santiago Lopez Rey..
