Peter è nato a Halmstad nel 1970 ma vive a Malmö dal 1999 ed è un professionista di bridge che è single ed ha una figlia.
Peter è un World Life Master che è uno dei migliori giocatori svedesi della nuova generazione.
Da juniores ha vinto sia il titolo svedese che quello nordico poi passato nella categoria superiore ha conquistato diversi titoli svedesi.
Nonostante l'età relativamente giovane Peter può già vantare nel suo palmares internazionale figurano tra gli altri: due argenti ai Campionati Europei del 1999 e del 2004, un bronzo ed un argento nelle Rosenblum del 1998 e del 2006, un bronzo e un argento ai Mondiali a Coppie del 1998 e del 2010, un oro negli Europei a Coppie del 2009 ed un bronzo negli Europei a Squadre Miste del 2013.
Al di fuori del Bridge i suoi interessi gravitano sulla buona musica, sul poker e sul golf.
Peter was born in 1969 in Halmstad, Sweden, but moved to
Malmö in 1999, where he now lives.
He is single with a daughter.
He is a professional bridge player who believes that he will soon be one of the world’s greatest players. Swedish bridge can look forward to a bright future if the first four years of the partnership of Peter and Magnus Lindkvist is any indication. They began by winning the 1996 Nordic Championship and represented Sweden at the Rhodes Teams Olympiad that year.
They have since won Bronze medals at three major championships - the 1997 European Pairs in The Hague, and both the World Open Pairs and the Rosenblum Teams in Lille, in 1998.
Peter won both the Nordic and the Swedish Junior Championships (the Pairs five years in a row) before forming his partnership with Magnus. In addition to their joint major successes, Peter also has a growing collection of Swedish national titles to his name, including a string of early successes with Magnus Eriksson (his previous Magnus).
Peter won the China Cup in 1999, the Icelandic Open in 2000, the European Teams Open Championship in 2004 and the European Pairs Championships in 2009. He also earned a silver medal in the Rosenblum of 2006 and in World Pairs Championships in 2010. Besides, he won the bronze medal in 2013 European Mixed teams.
Away from the table, he enjoys listening to music and is interested in poker and all sports, particularly golf.
