Andy Goodman è nato nel 1946 e si è laureato presso l'Università di Yale a New Haven nel Connecticut.

 Sposato con Teri fin dal 1977, Andrew è stato un broker che ha ricoperto la carica di Presidente presso la Rainbow Capital dal 1985 al 2018.

 Pensionatosi, si è dedicato completamente al bridge riuscendo a conquistare il titolo di World Senior International Master.

 Nel suo periodo di attività agonistica tra i Seniors, Andy ha vinto due argenti mondiali, uno nella Rand Cup del 2022 e l'altro nel d'Orsi Trophy del 2023.

A livello nazionale ha anche vinto 4 NABC: il BAM del 1994, Il Jacoby del 2024 e le Vanderbilt del 1992 e del 2025.

After retiring, he devoted himself entirely to bridge, managing to win the title of World Senior International Master.

During his time as a senior, Andy won two world silvers, one in the 2022 Rand Cup and the other in the 2023 d'Orsi Trophy.

At the national level, he has also won 4 NABCs: the 1994 BAM, the 2024 Jacoby and the 1992 and 2025 Vanderbilt.
