Diana Gordon è nata nel 1944 ed è stata forse la più forte e bella giocatrice canadese di tutti i tempi capace di rappresentare il suo Paese in 7 Olimpiadi ed 8 Venice Cup.

 E' stata un agente di viaggio e ha vissuto per oltre 50 anni al fianco di George Mittelman un altro mito del bridge canadese.

 World Grand Women Master, oltre ad una messe di Campionati Canadesi, ha vinto il mondiale a Coppie Miste nel 1982 appaiata al marito, il bronzo nelle Olimpiadi Femminili del 1988 e 1996 e nella Venice Cup del 1989.

 Tra i suoi trofei figura anche un NABC.

 Diana, che era stata anche una discreta tennista ed un ottima cuoca, è scomparsa il 20 marzo del 2024 dopo un coraggiosa battaglia con il cancro nella città di Toronto.

 Diana Gordon was born in 1944 and was perhaps the strongest and most beautiful Canadian player of all time, representing her country in 7 Olympics and 8 Venice Cups.

She was a travel agent and lived for over 50 years alongside George Mittelman, another legend of Canadian bridge.

World Grand Women Master, in addition to a host of Canadian Championships, she won the Mixed Pairs World Championship in 1982 paired her husband, bronze in the Women's Olympics in 1988 and 1996 and in the Venice Cup in 1989.

Her trophies also include an NABC.

Diana, who was also a decent tennis player and an excellent cook, passed away on March 20, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer in the city of Toronto.
