Thor Erik Hoftaniska è nato il 2 novembre del 1968 a Vadsø nell'estremo nord est della Norvegia ma da molti anni vive in Inghilterra.

  Dopo una serie di lavori di ogni tipo, ha lavorato come manager alla Fagmansutleie LTD di Porth una cittadina non lontana da Cardiff si è trasferito a Londra.

 Giocatore d'azzardo incallito, ha tre figli avuti con donne diverse ma si è sposato una sola volta.

 Suo zio era un mito del bridge norvegese.

 World International Master, è entrato a far parte del giro della nazionale norvegese nel 2010 ed ha colto i suoi migliori risultati nel 2011 conquistando l'argento alle Olimpiadi a Coppie Open ed il bronzo in quelle a Squadre per poi vincere la Champions Cup del 2021.

 Thor è anche un ottimo giocatore di scacchi.

  Thor Erik Hoftaniska was born on November 2, 1968 in Vadsø in the far north east of Norway but has lived in England for many years.

After a series of jobs of all kinds, he worked as a manager at Fagmansutleie LTD in Porth a town not far from Cardiff and moved to London.

A hardened gambler, he has three children with different women but has only married once.

His uncle was a Norwegian bridge legend.

World International Master, is joined in the national team in 2010 and took his best results at 2011 IMSA Game, winning the silver medal in the Open Pairs and the bronze medal in the Open Teams added the victory in Champion Cup 2021.

Thor is also a good chess player.
