Bodgan Marina è nato il 23 novembre del 1966 a Bucarest dove vive assieme alla moglie Marina Stegaroiu, altro nota bridgista romena.
Poliglotta, ha frequentato il Politecnico di Bucarest ed era un freelancer.
Bogdan, che è stato anche un bridgista di spicco del suo Paese che figura in pianta stabile nelle Squadre Nazionali romene e che ha conseguito il titolo di World Master della Federazione Mondiale, è anche stato più volte coach delle Nazionali romene.
Pluridecorato in Patria, a livello internazionale, nella Categoria del Misto dove eccelleva grazie al grande affiatamento maturato con la moglie Marina si era fregiato di un argento agli Europei del 2022 e di un bronzo ai Mondiali del 2023.
Bodgan è scomparso prematuramente nel marzo del 2025.

A polyglot, he attended the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and was a freelancer.
Bogdan, who was also a prominent bridge player in his country, a regular member of the Romanian National Teams and who achieved the title of World Master of the World Federation, has also been a coach of the Romanian National Teams several times.
Multi-decorated in his homeland, at international level, in the Mixed Category where he excelled thanks to the great harmony he developed with his wife Marina, he boasted a silver at the 2022 European Championships and a bronze at the 2023 World Championships.
Bodgan passed away prematurely in March 2025.
