Andrea Nilsson è nata il 24 febbraio del 2005 a Varberg nella Svezia meridionale ed è una delle più interessanti promesse del bridge svedese.
Ha studiato presso il Liceo Peders della sua città e oltre a giocare con successo a bridge, si diletta con il paddle, con il tennis e con il windsurf e, come se non bastasse, lavora pure nel negozio del padre.
Andrea che ha iniziato a giocare quando aveva una decina anni nel club della sua città, che è uno dei migliori della nazione, specie per quanto riguarda la cura del bridge giovanile, dopo aver partecipato a diversi campionati giovanili con la nazionale svedese si è tolta la grande soddisfazione si vincere l'argento ai Campionati Europei Transnazionali a squadre miste del 2023, giocando in squadra con l'amichetta che l'aveva coinvolta parecchi anni prima nel bridge domenicale che il club di Varberg dedica ai giovani: Maya Lo Bjork Heed.
