Andrew Rosenthal è nato il 1 luglio del 1962 a New York ha frequentato il Pitzer College di Claremont in California dove si è laureato in teatro prima di tornare nella città della mela.

Ha imparato il bridge dai suoi genitori ma non riusciva a trovare altri con cui praticarlo. Qualche anno più tardi degli amici lo hanno reintrodotto e lui ne è rimasto affascinato.

Preso il diploma di Direttore di Torneo ha iniziato a lavorare presso l'Honor's Bridge Club e a partecipare regolarmente ai NABC guadagnando anche qualche piazzamento di prestigio.

Scapolo, è stato comproprietario di due dei più famosi Club della città, il Cavendish Bridge Club e l'Aces Bridge Club.

Tra i suoi migliori risultati sportivi ricordiamo la vittoria nel Bean Red Ribbon Pairs del 1999, nel Goldman Pairs del 2004 e nella Vanderbilt del 2022, nonché, la medaglia d'argento nello Squadre Misto agli Europei Open del 2017 e nella Wuhan Cup del 2022 che poi vince l'anno successivo.

Andrew Rosenthal was born on July 1, 1962 in New York and attended Pitzer College in Claremont, California where he graduated in theater before returning to the apple city.

He learned bridge from his parents but couldn't find anyone else to practice it with. A few years later some of his friends reintroduced him and he was fascinated by it.

After graduating as a Tournament Director he began working at the Honor's Bridge Club and regularly participating in the NABC, also earning some prestigious placings.

A bachelor, he was co-owner of two of the most famous clubs in the city, the Cavendish Bridge Club and the Aces Bridge Club.

Among his best sporting results we remember the victory in the 1999 Bean Red Ribbon Pairs, in the 2004 Goldman Pairs and in the 2022 Vanderbilt, as well as the silver medal in the Mixed Team at the 2017 European Open and in the 2022 Wuhan Cup which then wins the following year.

In 2024 he was awarded the Lazard Sportsmanship Award.
