Warren ROSNER

 Warren Max Rosner è nato nel 1944 e negli anni '80 e 90 è stato uno dei migliori giocatori americani che ha anche fatto parte delle Nazionali USA.

 Warren si è laureato al Politecnico Rensselaer di Troy nello stato di New York dove ha incontrato il suo partner di molte future vittorie, Alan Stauber.

 Programmatore di mainframe computers ha anche lavorato per tre anni al Pentagono, più tardi, dopo l'esplosione commerciale dei PC, si è pensionato e ha iniziato a fare l'insegnante di bridge operando al Bridge Deck di Scarsdale, sempre nello stato di New York.

 World International Master, ha vinto tre NABC's tra cui ricordiamo il  Wernher e la Spingold nel 1981.

 Sposato con Ann Lou, oltre al bridge, amava molto il baseball di cui era un appassionato tifoso.

 É scomparso il 9 agosto del 2013 dopo una breve malattia.

  Warren Rosner was born in 1944 and he has been one of the New York region’s best players in the 1980s and ’90s.

Rosner won three national titles, the 1980 Blue Ribbon Pairs, and the 1981 Spingold Knockout Teams and Open Pairs. He was second three times.

He graduated from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., where he met Alan Stauber (now of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.), an imaginative player who was Rosner’s partner in those three national championship victories.

Rosner programmed mainframe computers, including working at the Pentagon during the Vietnam era. When personal computers became popular, he became a bridge teacher, primarily at the Bridge Deck in Scarsdale, N.Y.

Married with Ann Lou, away from the bridge table, Rosner was a sports enthusiast who loved fantasy baseball.

He died 2013, Aug 9 after a short illness.
