May  SAKR

 May Sakr è nata a Beirut in Libano il 30 agosto del 1963 e lì ha completato i suoi studi superiori per poi trasferirsi negli USA dove ha preso una laurea in Scienza dei Computer alla Northern Illinois University.

 Sposata con figli, oggi vive a Bryn Mawr una città una ventina di chilometri a nord ovest di Filadelfia e passa gran parte dell'anno a giocare a bridge sotto la guida del suo mentore il campione polacco Martens.

 May conosceva il bridge fin dai tempi dell'università ma ha cominciato a praticarlo a livello agonostico solo nel 2010.

 Tra i numerosi titoli vinti brillano la vittoria nel prestigioso Patton di Monaco davanti alla squadra Lavazza, il bronzo conquistato agli Europei del 2017 nello Squadre Miste e la vittoria del FMB Trophy del 2020.

   May Sakr was born in Lebanon in August 1963 and there she completed her high school studies and then moved to the USA where she took a degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.

 Married with children, she now lives in Bryn Mawr, a town about twenty kilometers northwest of Philadelphia, and spends most of the year playing bridge under the guidance of her mentor, Polish champion Martens.

 May knew bridge since college but only started practicing it at an agonostic level in 2010.

Among the numerous titles won, shine the prestigious Patton of Monaco in front of the Lavazza team, the bronze earned at the 2017 European Championships in the Mixed Teams and the victory in 2020 FMB Trophy.
