Handojo Susanto è nato il 7 ottobre del 1942 ed è un neurologo e psicologo indonesiano che parla fluentemente l'olandese ed un esperto d'arte che è stato Presidente della Himpunan Keramic Indonesia una Associazione di ceramisti assai nota.

 Si è laureato in medicina presso l'Università di Airlangga Surabaya dove, nel 1964 ha anche guadagnato il suo Master in neurologia e psicologia.

 Collezionista d'arte è abbastanza noto in campo bridgistico in quanto facente parte da diversi anni della Squadra Seniores del suo Paese.
