Johan è nato il 19 aprile 1977 a Stoccolma dove vive ed è uno dei pochi giocatori arrivati improvvisamente ai massimi successi internazionali.

 Ha studiato presso la Nytorps School e presso l'Università di Stoccolma ed è un trader presso Betpump.

 Fidanzato con la campionessa olandese Marion Michielsen con la quale convive assieme al loro figlioletto Oscar, ha una sorella gemella ed un fratellastro e non ha mai preso la patente.

 Noto in campo nazionale, si affaccia alla ribalta nazionale conquistando la terza piazza nella Champion Cup del 2009 per poi vincere a sorpresa le Olimpiadi a Squadre del 2012 e, ancora più a sorpresa, il Cavendish Team di Monaco 2013.

 Nel 2015 arriva il suo miglior risultato con l'argento nella Bermuda Bowl seguito dall'argento nella prima edizione degli IMSA Elite Mind Games sia nel Coppie che nello Squadre Open e negli Europei a Squadre Open. Nel 2017 guadagna l'argento allo Squadre Miste degli Europei Open.

Johan was born in Stockholm 1977, 19 April where he lives and is one of the few players arrived suddenly at the highest international success.

He studied at Nytorps High School and at Stockholm University and today he is a Betpump trader.

He has a twin sister and a stepbrother and he never got driving license.

He live with the bridge girl champion Marion Michielsen and their child Oscar.

Known in the domestic arena, facing to national prominence by earning the third place in the 2009 Champion's Cup and then, a surprise, he won the Olympics Teams in 2012. Even more surprisingly he won in 2013 the Cavendish Team in Monaco.

In 2015 come the best result with the silver medal in the Bermuda Bowl followed by two silver (Open Teams and Pairs) in the first edition of IMSA Elite Mind Games and in the European Open Teams. In 2017 she earned the silver medal in the Mixed Teams at European Open.
