Marion Michielson è nata ad Apeldoorn il 2 agosto del 1985 è una laureata in giurisprudenza ed è un'affermata campionessa di livello intercontinentale.

 Marion vive a Stoccolma con il suo fidanzato John Upmark che, nemmeno a dirlo, è un campione svedese e con il loro figlioletto Oscar.

 Prima di dedicarsi completamente al bridge, Marion suonava il piano ed il flauto e giocava a softball e a scacchi.

 Ha cominciato a giocare a bridge a soli 13 anni giocando in coppia con il fratello Thomas e divorando i volumi di bridge che aveva collezionato il papà ed  oggi è una delle più forti giocatrici europee ed una delle pochissime ragazze che viene spesso inserita nelle formazioni open.

 Marion ha esordito nella nazionale dei tulipani vincendo la medaglia di bronzo agli Europei a Squadre Open Under 21 di Praga 2004 e i Campionati Europei Femminili Giovanili di Riccione nel 2006.

 Nel 2005 Marion faceva il suo esordio ai Campionati Transnazionali Europei diventando la più giovane giocatrice ad aver vinto una medaglia europea grazie al bronzo conquistato nello Squadre Miste.

 La sua giovane età gli ha permesso anche di far parte della Squadra Open Under 26 che ha vinto l'oro agli Europei di Jesolo del 2007 ed il bronzo a quelli di Brasov 2009, ed anche, di quella che ha vinto le Universiadi del 2008 a Lodz e i Mondiali Juniores a Coppie del 2009 a Istanbul.  

 A conferma delle sue doti non comuni, la Michielsen è stata inserita nella nazionale olandese maggiore dove al primo colpo ha conquistato la medaglia d'argento nello Squadre Ladies di Varsavia 2006 per, poi, ad Antalya nel 2007, coronare l'inseguimento ad un oro europeo vincendo i Campionati a Squadre Femminili a cui ha fatto seguito l'argento in quelli del 2010. Infine, nel 2011 ha guadagnato il bronzo nella Venice Cup.

 Nel 2008 ha anche contribuito a riportare la Warren Buffet Cup al di qua dell'Oceano e nel 2013 è diventata Campionessa Europea a Squadre Miste e ha guadagnato anche l'argento nel Coppie Femminile.

Oggi è in testa alla classifica delle World Women Grand Master e nel 2013 è arrivata a vincere lo Sternberg ai Fall NABC, ha raddoppiato il bronzo nella Venice Cup e ha vinto il Cavendish Team di Monaco giocando in coppia con John.

Nel 2014 ha vinto i World Transnational Mixed Teams e finalmente è salita sulle massime vette vincendo i Campionati Europei a Squadre Femminili, i World Bridge Series Women Teams e i World Pairs Mind Games. Sempre nel 2014 ha anche conquistato l'argento agli Individuali Femminili dei Giochi della Mente.

Nel 2015 ha vinto agli Europei Open lo Squadre Femminile, nel 2017 ha guadagnato l'argento nello Squadre Miste , nel 2018 ha vinto la Gold Cup e nel 2022 la Mc Connell Cup.

Oggi detiene i titoli di World Women Grand Master e di World Open International Master.

Marion was born in Apeldoorn on August 2, 1985 and is a law graduate and an established intercontinental champion.

Marion lives in Stockholm with her boyfriend John Upmark who, not even to say, is a Swedish champion and with their son Oscar.

Before devoting himself completely to the Bridge, Marion played piano and flute and played softball and chess.

He started playing bridge at only 13 years devouring the volumes of bridge that had collected his father and is now one of the strongest European players and one of the very few girls often included in the open formations.

Marion debuted in the national team of tulips winning the bronze medal at the European Under 21 Teams Championships in Prague 2004 and the European Youth Championships in Riccione in 2006.

In 2005 Marion made her debut at the European Transnational Championships becoming the youngest player to have won a European medal thanks to the bronze won in the Mixed Teams.

His young age also allowed him to be part of the Open Under 26 Team that won the gold at the European Championships in Jesolo in 2007 and the bronze at those in Brasov 2009, and also, in the one that won the 2008 University Championships in Lodz and the 2009 World Pairs Cup in Istanbul.

In confirmation of hers uncommon qualities, Michielsen has been included in the major national team where the first shot won the silver medal in the Ladies Teams in Warsaw 2006 for, then, in Antalya in 2007, crown the chase to a gold European winning the Women's Teams Championships which was followed by the silver in those of 2010.

Finally, in 2011 he won the hers first bronze in the Venice Cup.

In 2008 she also contributed to bringing the Warren Buffet Cup back to the Ocean and in 2013 became European Mixed Team Champion and also gained silver in the European Pairs Women.

Today she is at the top of the World Women Grand Masters and in 2013 she won the Sternberg at the Fall NABC, doubled the bronze in the Venice Cup and won the Monaco Cavendish Team playing together with John.

In 2014 she won the World Transnational Mixed Teams and finally got to the top peaks winning the European Women's Teams Championships, the World Bridge Series Women Teams and the World Pairs Mind Games. Also in 2014, she also won the silver to the Individuals of the Games of Mind.

In 2015 she won the Women's Team at the European Open, in 2017, she won the silver in the Mixed Teams,  in 2018 she won the Gold Cup and in 2022 the Mc Connell Cup.

Today he holds the titles of World Women Grand Master and World Open International Master.
