Isabelle Dewasme was born on November 5, 1970 in Radinghem-en-Weppes, a town 15 km west of Lille, and now lives in Braine-l'Alleud, about 30 km south of the Belgian capital.
She studied at the Lycée Beaupré in Haubourdin in France and then at the IESCA in Belgium.
Today she is the Director of Orpea, a health facility located near the Belgian capital.
She lives with the Belgian champion Bernard Dehaye together with their three children, among whom Clovis is following in his parents' footsteps.
Isabelle, who has been part of the Belgian national teams several times, has won some national titles often playing in pairs with Bernard.
Bernard, who was born on April 3, 1961, is a multiple World Master national champion and is also Isabelle's main bridge partner.
Clovis Dehaye was born in Los Angeles on November 14, 1997 but grew up in Braine-L'Alleud where he graduated from the Vallé-Bailly Institute where he currently works after having worked at Les Scout in Brussels.
Son of parents who are international level bridge players, he was passionate about our game and was part of the Belgian youth teams several times, winning a silver medal at the European Youth Championships in the Under 31 category.
