Giuseppe Garabello nacque a Torino nel 1925 ma visse ad Ivrea fino al 1962 anno nel quale, dopo essersi sposato, si trasferì nuovamente a Torino.

 Nel capoluogo piemontese che gli aveva dato i natali, forma un formidabile tandem con Vito Pittalà con cui comincia a mettersi in mostra ad alto livello vincendo agli inizi degli anni '70, i Campionati Italiani a Squadre Open (1968, 1972, 1974), I Campionati Italiani a Squadre Miste (1968) e, soprattutto, entrando a far parte dell'equipe che successe allo straordinario Blue Team.

 Negli stessi anni, conquista due medaglie d'argento ai Campionati del MEC a squadre nel 1971 e nel 1973.

 Ma fu il 1973 a sancire l'apice dei suoi trionfi con la conquista della prestigiosa Bermuda Bowl a Guaruya in Brasile.

 L'amico fraterno Dante De Martini, appassionato bridgista, lo convince nel 1975 a trasferirsi ad Albenga per gestire una rivendita di tabacchi.

 Giuseppe accetta la proposta e così un World Life Master ed il grande bridge sbarca nella piccola cittadina ligure che godrà delle sue gesta e dei suoi insegnamenti fino alle metà del 2005 anno della sua scomparsa.

Joseph Garabello was born in Turin in 1925 but lived until 1962 in Ivrea year when, after marrying, moved again in Turin.

In Turin, who had given birth, it forms a formidable tandem with Vito Pittalà which starts to show a high level by winning the early '70s, three Italian Open Teams Championships (1968, 1972, 1974), the Italian Mixed Teams (1968) and, most importantly, becoming part of 'what happened to the extraordinary team Blue Team.

In those years, winning two silver medals in the Championships of the MEC team in 1971 and 1973.

But it was in 1973 to enshrine the pinnacle of his success with winning the prestigious Bermuda Bowl in Guaruya in Brazil.

The close friend Dante De Martini, an avid bridge player, convinces him to move to Albenga in 1975 to manage a tobacconist.

Joseph accepts the proposal, and so a World Life Master and the great land bridge in the small town in Liguria enjoy that of his exploits and his teachings until mid-2005 the year of his death.
