Nato nel 1984 a Arendal una cittadina nel Sud della Norvegia 70 Km a Nord Est di Kristiansend è una delle giovani promesse del sempre più qualificato Bridge norvegese.
Studente di economia e commercio ha iniziato a giocare al livello internazionale giovanile in coppia con Erik Eide, il più grande dei fratelli Eide, con cui ha vinto l'argento nel 2000 e il bronzo nel 2002 nei Campionati Juniores Under 20, il bronzo nel 2004 ai Campionati Mondiali School Teams e nelle Olimpiadi di Pechino Under 26.
Nel 2008 ha iniziato ha cogliere i suoi primi grandi successi nella Categoria Open diventando Campione Europeo a Squadre Open e contribuendo nelle file della Squadra dell'Europa a riportare la Warren Buffet Cup al di qua dell'Oceano.
Nel 2013 il primo successo oltre Oceano con lo Jacoby Swiss Teams seguito dall'accoppiata Reisinger - Spingold dell'anno successivo, nel 2015 dal Mitchell e dal BAM Open Teams di consolazione agli Europei Open, nel 2016 il Jacoby e nel 2017 ancora la Spingold.
World International Master, nel 2018 conquista la Zimmmermann Cup ai secondi European Winter Games e i Campionati Europei a Squadre. Nel 2019 guadagna il bronzo nella Bermuda Bowl.
