Franz TERRANEO

 

 Franz Terraneo è nato a Vienna il 2 agosto del 1938 ed è stato uno dei giocatori elvetici di maggior successo negli anni '80 e '90.

 Figlio d'arte, il padre Herbert vinse un bronzo agli Europei Open a Squadre del 1969.

 World Life Master ha fatto parte a più riprese della nazionale elvetica fin dal 1976 . Della Nazionale elvetica fa parte anche la moglie Sylvia e a volte il fratello Tino che è un World International Master.

 Assieme a diversi titoli nazionali, Franz ha conquistato l'argento nella Bermuda Bowl del 1985 e nelle Olimpiadi a Squadre del 1988.

 Sul piano continentale ha vinto il Campionato Europeo a Squadre del 1985 ed ha guadagnato l'argento in quello a Coppie Libere dello stesso anno e, in coppia con la moglie, quello a Coppie Miste del 1990.

 Dopo una lunga pausa ha ripreso a giocare e nel 2013 ha conquistato l'argento nell'Europeo   Transnazionale per Squadre Senior.

  Franz Terraneo was born in Vienna on 1938, 2 August and was one of the most successful Swiss players in the '80s and '90s.

Son of art, his father Herbert won a bronze medal at the European Open Teams in 1969.

World Life Master has served on a number of occasions the Swiss National since 1976. Is part of the Swiss National his wife Sylvia and sometimes his brother Tino, which is a World International Master.

Along with several national titles, Franz won the silver medal in the 1985 Bermuda Bowl and the 1988 Olympics Teams.

On the mainland has won the European Championship Team in 1985 and earned a silver medal in the European Pairs Championships of the same year and, paired with his wife, in the 1990 European Mixed Pairs.

After a long pause he resumed playing and  won the silver medal in the 2013 European Transnational's Senior Teams.
