Marianne  SERF

 Marianne Serf è nata il 14 luglio del 1931 e, pur non avendo iniziato a giocare da giovanissima, è stata una delle più forti giocatrici francesi degli anni '60.

 Il padre Jacques Bleriot, scomparso nel 1952, era un forte e spericolato bridgista tra i compagni preferiti dal mostro sacro Pierre Albarran.

 Insegnante di successo per quasi trent'anni, Marianne come giocatrice ha collezionato una serie di successi sia in campo nazionale che internazionale tra i quali ricordiamo:  a livello mondiale ha vinto l'argento nel Campionato Mondiale a Coppie Femminili del 1962 e nello Squadre Femminili all'Olimpiade del 1964.  A livello europeo ha vinto i Campionati a Squadre Femminili nel 1969, dopo esser arrivata all'argento nelle edizioni del 1962 e 1963 e allo stesso metallo nello Squadre Miste del 2002. Nei campionati del mercato comune ha vinto lo Squadre Miste nel 1973 e lo Squadre Femminile nel 1969, ha guadagnato l'argento nel Coppie Femminili del 1967 e del 1975 e nello Squadre Senior del 1993. Sempre ai Campionati del MEC, un paio di bronzi li ha presi nello Squadre Femminile del 1971 e nel Coppie Senior del 1996.

Scomparve a Neuilly sur Seine il 15 febbraio del 2017.

Marianne Serf was born on July 14, 1931 and, despite not having started playing at a very young age, she was one of the strongest French players of the 1960s.

The father Jacques Bleriot who passed away in 1952, was a habitual companion of the sacred monster Pierre Albarran.

Successful bridge teacher for almost thirty years, as a player she has collected a series of successes both nationally and internationally among which we remember: worldwide she won silver in the 1962 Women's World Pairs Championships and in the Women Teams at the Olympiads of 1964. At European level she won the Women's Teams Championships in 1969, after having achieved silver in the 1962 and 1963 editions and earned the same metal in the 2002 Mixed Teams. In the common market championships she won the Mixed Teams in 1973 and the Women's Team in 1969, in add on she earned silver in the 1971 Women's Teams and 1996 Senior Couples.

She disappeared in Neuilly sur Seine on February 15, 2017.
